I pretty much like all of the romantic suspense books I read. Each as its own story and they are all interesting.
I am a combat wounded Vietnam veteran, so I can and identify with those characters suffering from PTSD. I tread books in this genre because I don't have to think, just enjoy reading. Your decision to interject political characterizations disturbed me and I found I enjoyed the book less because of that.
Post traumatic stress disorder is featured in this book. The heroine was attacked by five men and was in a coma for a week. The daughter was a survivor of a fire and the murder of her mother. She is currently not able to speak. The plot moves quickly and has many twists and turns,keeping the reader's attention.
Loved the caricatures, one of my favorite books in a long time.
Hope there are more to come.

I'm really loving this series. It's hard for me to put the book down. Her characters and their back stories are great. Great read!
Story about PTSD and how it affects different types of trauma to all ages of people differently. Wonder more about Cortisol? Was never offered it for treatment. Love this AT series.
