- Hagen is from a long line of Vikings who shift into big hairy beasts with heightened senses. His ancestor was the first Bigfoot caught on film and to make ends meet his family devised a tourist attraction based around the legend. When the fiery red haired witch, Rhea, comes to town with a crew of Bigfoot hunters he fights his atraction to her tooth and nail but he can't fight fate, just like the local seer told him a long time ago.
- Absolutely loved this series.The female and male lead will pull you into their story and its magic. Rhea and Hagen make a beautiful couple with chemistry flowing from the pages the first time they meet. Secondary characters are just as strong as the H /h...This story was so good.. I would have to say the h Rhea is definitely the hero of this story. Hagen is all alpha in and out of the bedroom scenes. I fell for him and his struggles with his Beast. Author gives us mystery with some paranormal along with humor and sexy time between the sheets.
Great storyline, first book I have read from this author and I can't wait to read more. - A very different take on shape shifter romance. Sweet and sassy encounters. I just wish there was more sexual tension and romantic interludes. A better description of Hagen after his shape shift would be nice. Not sure if I would read more on this series, it was a little slow moving. Author has a great idea but I need HOT.
- Modern/contemporary romances are not my usual choice of reading material, but even so I am a big fan of Ms. Whiteaker's work. With reading this first book in her new "Big" series I am even more impressed. Her paranormal romance storyline kept me hooked. I love the direction she has taken with her new series. I don't think I've ever seen this take on a romance before......who would think of a romance with Bigfoot?? Ms. Whiteaker, that's who, grin!!
I loved reading Hagen and am looking forward to reading Magni next. Anticipating the rest of the series. Great job Ms. Whiteaker!! - I love romance. I wasn't sure a romantic bigfoot would be believable. I was so wrong. Janice introduces us to a whole new way of thinking about bigfoot with "Hagen". I don't think I can go back to "normal" romance now that I have started this series. Bring on more because I love it, I'm a big girl and I can take it. This series has become my new read over and over series.
- This was grabbed me from the beginning. Unlike some authors who start with a strong h and then turn them into a wuss this one stayed strong the whole time. The give and push between them was at times laugh out loud. The format was a little screwed up but not he author’s fault. As an aside the word is conscience not conscious toward the end and what can be performed in surgery can usually be undone as well. Anything else would be giving too much away but really liked it.

- From start to finish, this book is simply amazing. It’s adventure, wonder, sexy, and gripping. I literally could not put it down and finished in a day! I can’t wait to read Magni! Another amazing story by a fantastic author. It would be a disservice for anyone Not to read this superior work!!!
