• Getting into NY high schools is very competitive. You can give your student a tool that will help prepare them to score better on the SHSAT. This manual is well written and well made to hold up for multiple uses. The information is organized and extremely helpful. This book contains an offer for a free study tips dvd and test taking strategies. I really enjoy the layout of these manuals. They always include the answer key which explains why the answer is what it is, very helpful and one of the only manuals that I have found that give explanations. This manual covers reading comprehension, editing/revising, and math. It gives valuable insights for the SHSAT test. These practice guides are well thought out, through, and in depth with what the SHSAT covers to help with prep. I feel it covers a expansive amount of testing information and diverse questions to give students a working knowledge of what information to study. The testing tips alone are a great help.
• I love that this guide has 3 unique practice tests. This allows ample opportunity for practice and prepare for the SHSAT. I love that it not only gives you the practice tests, but it thoroughly explains how they arrived at the answer. This builds on your understanding of the process and helps ensure that you not only understand but learn the material for long term retention.

Whether it is how to mentally prepare for the day, how I should break up my time, and create the best strategies that will provide the best results needed for getting the grades I want. This preparation booklet is broken up into small and easy to read sections that allow you to highlight to study material you need to go over and practice test to see where you are in your studying. This is the best book series to help you pass your exams.
• One of the most informative study guides I’ve bought! It sucks you right into the book and actually shows the reader how to solve for the problems. I thought is was going to be confusing but it actually wasn’t it. Definitely recommend buying it!

I got the book for a sister-in-law towards her high school admission preparatory examinations in 2019. The book will be certainly helpful having gone through it!
