"I went into this read expecting it to be a hot but "safe" read, especially considering that the hero was a virgin. I should have read the reviews better I suppose. While the hero was a virgin, he did talk about and even made the comment to the heroine "Do you want me to tell you about all the women before who have sucked me off?" Ummm... no thank you. I didn't care for that at all. Aside from that, I still wasn't a fan of this book. It was a little too cliché for me personally. He never once felt like a Navy Seal. He seemed very immature. Hell, they both did. It also had a bad case of insta-love and I never felt their relationship truly developed. I'm glad I got this one for free, but it's still not one Id recommend."

• WOW - WHOA NELLIE--WHERE DO I START??? First, I loved the story. Second, it was SEXY as heck so if that is a problem for you, better skip this one. Third, this hero was OMG something else. On one hand he seems very young and needs a little bit more of life experiences. Then when you find out where he is coming from you discover that his maturity level of how he wants to live his life is off the charts. He is a SEAL, so his life is different from the average guy. He does have a very dangerous job and he is gone a lot so it takes a very special woman to be a SEAL wife.
  
  The heroine is a couple of years older and she is divorced from a first-class jerk. She has a few scars from that but not enough to really effect her and run her life. These two start as neighbors and friends and then things happen and everything changes. This is their story. It is really just about the two of them, their hot times in bed and this guy likes to talk and explain his feelings. WOW, must be the first man on earth to do that!!!
  
  I loved the story, how they came together, their HEA and the whole thing. I definitely recommend it. A good read. I didn't pick up on any of the things mentioned in the negative review. I guess it is all how you see a story. I thought it was great and if you like SEALs and erotic romances, then go for it. You won't be sorry!!!

• Jared is the sweetest, hottest guy ever. He's secretly in love with his neighbor Cassie but doesn't pursue a relationship because he's a Seal and is afraid he'll break her heart when he has to leave. Not to mention the fact she made it clear when they first met that she only wants to be friends. Plus, Jared has seen so many of his fellow servicemen go through breakups and he wants more for Cassie.
  
  Cassie is great and such an amazing person. She and Jared are close friends but the more she's around him, the more she wants. But she remembers telling him she wasn't looking for relationship. Now Cassie wants more and isn't sure how to get it.
  
  Out with friends one night, Cassie's ex husband shows up and Jared is there to protect her. After sharing the hottest kiss of both of their lives, they back off, both afraid of losing their friendship. Neither will admit they want more. But after a few days, Jared makes his intentions clear and Cassie couldn't be happier. Then he drops the bomb that's he's a virgin.
  
  Holy cow. Jared will make your heart patter. Once you learn his reasons for his choices, you'll love him even more. And don't think his innocence makes him innocent. Oh no. This man can talk dirty and he knows just what he wants and how. I loved that the tables were turned in this story and we sees things from a different angle with the guy being the virgin.
  
  This was a quick read told from both POVs. Friends to lovers, sexy military man, great characters and a wonderful ending. 4.5 Stars!
• Jared Suttwer is a special ops Navy SEAL and has every intention of making it his career. Cassie lives in the apartment next door and they became good friends right from the start with a verbal understanding that they would not ruin their friendship with a personal relationship due to her getting over a breakup and his career. But a year later Cassie has realized she has allowed feelings for Jared to develop and yet she is terrified to move on them and lose his friendship. So what happens when your best laid plans go up in smoke?
  Jared knows his career will always come first. He was born to be a SEAL. It's in his blood. But when he goes out with Cassie and a bunch of their friends he finds himself making a claim on her to keep other men away but Cassie just thinks no man wants her. By the time they get back to their apartments Cassie is almost in tears, her self esteem in the toilet until Jared realizes what he has done and can't help but comfort her. But Jared has secrets. One of them is a doozy! And he can't start a relationship with Cassie without disclosing it. But Cassie has a secret of her own. Does this relationship stand a chance with all the secrets these two have?
• Jared and Cassie were neighbors who became friends. Jared dates lots of women but never found a woman he wanted to have a relationship with. Cassie is a business woman who just came out of a tough divorce. She dated but didn't find a man who wanted a permanent relationship with her because she was barren. This pair were content with being friends, each for their own reasons.
  
  I loved this book! Both Cassie and Jared fought their crushes on each other making me root for them to find a way to get together. The author made it easy for the reader to see why they didn't want to have sex in the event that would destroy their friendship, which was so important to them.
  
  The descriptions and narrative bring the world to life in a realistic manner that allows you to easily picture it. The secret Jared had was an absolute shocker for me. This was pretty steamy but I liked that it wasn't over the top erotica.
  The characters were also believable and easy to identify with.
  
  This novella may be short and sweet, but it definitely packs a punch. If you are looking for a short, steaming read, don't miss this one.
