• The Silver Seal series has been a fun series to read. They are all stand alone but follow the same story line. I love how we were introduced to Eric in another book of Ms Jordans and now he gets his own story.
  Eric goes to Wichita KS undercover working as a journalist for a conference at an animal research center. He meets Lydia at a restaurant before discovering she us one of the Dr's he will be learning from at the facility.
  As always Ms. Jordan's characters are perfectly developed and you feel like you know them. This was an older couple but it disnt make him less of an alpha or any less sexy. They were great togther, immediate chemistry. The mystery part of the story was a little less intense than her normal stories. It really did focus on the couple and the investigation was definitely in the background. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
• Former US Navy SEAL Commander Eric Lopez served his country for 25 years and then he was medically discharged. He simply pointed his finger on a map and now resides in Vermont on a beautiful lake surrounded by peace and quiet. He liked his life but he was bored. Enter Bone Frog Command and it's director Silas Branson and suddenly Eric's life was about to become busier.
  
  He is dispatched to Kansas on a fact finding mission. He poses as a reporter to ferret out threats from possible terrorists to the new National Bio and Agro-defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas. There he meets veterinarian Lydia Hughes. She works with healthy pigs and gets nominated to escort reporters and scientists around the facility and answer questions.
  
  She meets Eric in a bar before she sees him in reporter mode. They have a chemistry but only want to keep to one night, she is a widower with a daughter in college. She doesn't want a relationship and he has been divorced and isn't looking for anything permanent but well love finds you when you least expect it.
  
  Lydia is mistaken for someone else and is kidnapped. Eric gathers a team together and if you have read Ms. Jordan's books before you will know the characters on the team.
  
  This was a fast read and had some twists and turns and hot sex. Ms. Jordan's descriptive writing makes me want to visit the places she writes about. Her characters are well defined and she tells their story in a methodical manner and not in a slapped together kind of way. I walk away feeling that I actually know the characters.
  
  I loved this next book in the series and look forward to the next one.
• Haven't read a romantic suspense book that I loved more than this one in a L O N G time!!! This book is everything you could want in a love story!! Eric & Lydia are late 30s/early 40s and are written as adults -- no silliness. They are attracted to each other, start something they understand will be temporary, then fall in love. Seeing former SEAL brothers rush in to help Eric after Lydia is kidnapped was awesome! Seeing Eric be patient with a newbie agent was adorable. But experiencing Eric's love for Lydia and how his life changed with her & his new family was the best!! One of the best epilogues ever! Fantastic book -- can't recommend this enough!
• This is a phenomenal book in a fabulous new series! Eric is a retired Seal who is content with his retirement or so he thought until he was presented with a new challenge. Dr. Lydia Hughes has been a single parent for so long, putting her personal life on hold for her daughter and her career that she’s not sure what’s next. A chance meeting will end up bringing Eric and Lydia together for a night that shakes them to their core. This couple will be drawn together by fate and will face unimaginable challenges but will find a love that will make their hearts stutter. This is a definite must have must read book!

• Eric isn’t enjoying his retirement like many do. He is living a satisfactory life, but can’t call it happy. SEALs have trouble with forced retirement due to being medically discharged. Then he meets Silas Branson and his life changes.  Lydia is a widowed mother and veterinarian at the National Bio and Afro-defense Facility who just sent her daughter off to college. She is learning to live in an empty house for the first time. Their lives collide while he is on a mission. 
  
  I am really enjoying this series! I can't wait to read the next one!

  Eric is a former Seal. He is brought in to ho undercover and find out why someone wants secrets about NBAF.
  Lydia is a widow and single mom to a daughter. She is a vet at NBAF. One night she goes out for a celebration with fellow employees and meets a man. Soon she sees him at work and he is a journalist talking to one of the protesters. She is very angry.
  Eric is working with Mace and his team for backup. When Lydia disappears, Logan and Bart are brought in for backup also.
  Will Eric find her in time??
