- The intrigue builds in the new volume of World's End Harem. Reito is investigating the origin of the Man-Killer Virus, but somebody wants to sabotage his efforts. There's an American woman putting the moves on him and then there are dealings with his support team. Reito has the classic dilemma of a thriller protagonist who can he trust? Meanwhile, there is Doi, who one might think is living the dream being the only male at a school of beautiful females who want to mate with him. However, the girls are proving aggressive when it comes to getting quality time. We also see more of the sinister side of his caretaker Karen and we learn one of the students is the younger sister of one of Reito's team, which suggests a collision is in the making. World's End Harem is proving a series that is both sexy and suspenseful.
- I like this manga and I like how the story is progressing and it makes you want to read more to find out what's going to happen.

In the main plot Reito and his “happy†entourage travel to to Keimon City, where the MK virus first broke out in Japan in order to meet with the widow of the first victim, but she doesn’t want to talk about it with him or anyone else.... However, said widow is already in steady electronic communication with someone else involved...

Worse, after testing him to her satisfaction (and frequently arguing secretly with Elisa) she is put into a coma by an attempt on her life, but nevertheless she is able to pass on to Reito at least a part of the secret she holds the production method for the man made (or was that woman made?) MK virus. If this contains a complete description of the virus, Reito will be able to make a vaccine.
Meanwhile, some secrets begin to bubble up that will produce some interesting conflicts in the future between Patients One, Two, and Three. In particular Patient Three (and even Patient One!) are finding out that maintaining a rigidly routined harem is not all that easy because some women are just more interesting than others… and some women are just less patient than others…. In addition while Patients One and Two are aware of each other, though the outside world knows only of Patient Two, Patient Three knows nothing of them; and they know nothing of him.
Note Frankly, I had always thought that the real reason there were five patients immune to the MK virus was so that series star Reito could take the Standard Manga Harem Position (of refusing to be intimate with anyone but the one girl he was actually in love with) without looking like a complete idiot under the circumstances. Patient One and Patient Three were “carrying the load†for him so that he could be “noble†as much as he wanted to, but once again author LINK surprised me. When flat out asked a blunt question about whether he intends to never make kids, Reito surprised me by saying that, unlike when he was first awakened, he might be willing to mate with women other than Elisa if asked, but what he would never do is give up on loving her. Then, two pages later Elisa states that even if Reito falls for someone else, she will always love him. Given the desperate circumstances, these were surprisingly thoughtful and mature responses from the both of them.

Note The saga continues from World's End Harem, Vol. 1,World's End Harem, Vol. 2, and World's End Harem, Vol. 3. - So, to begin with, this is a harem manga, and you know the rule plot ain't this thing's higher point.
Put your run of the mill goody two-shoes in an obnoxious apocalyptic situation where women are seemingly not very good at science and engineering, as much as they're exceedingly good at opposing each other. Because, when humanity faces impending extinction, the best thing to do is to cause infighting within infighting within the same organization.
At least, in The Walking Death, subfactions must have to reach a sizable number before trying to kill each other.
Anyways, that's all you need to know about the plot. There are plenty of nudes for almost all tastes. All girls REALLY want it. And because of this, expect bountiful amounts of lewdness.
Only thing I admire of this is the fact that they manage to make harems scary. That's a feat. - Reito and his beautiful escorts have a lead on a clue to the MK Virus. The first ever victim's wife is an old woman. Her husband's activities are a mystery. As an old man, he didn't have modern technology that would have tracked his movement. But the old woman refuses to speak.
Reito will have to get her to talk while she demands her own answers. Why isn't he mating with his escorts?
Reito love for Elisa is holding him back despite the romantic place he and his women are staying at. It comes complete with a indoor hot spring. Can he resist their beauty when they slip in and need him to wash their backs?
Doi is finding his own frustrations in his “school†harem. The girls all want him, and the pressure is getting to the nerdy boy. Will he find balance with the various personalties of his harem, or will it overwhelm him?
This series continues to be naughty and wild. While Reito isn't getting in on the fun, the other two guys are. However, something troubling is appearing as the unbridled passion is getting to the men. It's interesting where this series is going. While it's a harem story, our main character is fixated on the world girl he can't find.
But Elisa is out there. What will happen when he finds her? I'm eager to find out!
