- This book is never on my bookshelf, because I refer to it so often! It is my "how to do life well" guide. If you find yourself thinking that there has to be a better way to live... yes, there is! David has helped me to bust through a cycle of habitual negative self talk and thoughts. The way my life has transformed in a year has been so amazing. Not only do my physical goals now seem possible and second nature, but I love myself in a whole new way. I am my biggest fan and my own most valuable coach. I trust myself again to step out and try new things, meet new people, and create a life that makes every day exciting.
- Have been following David Godfrey's work for some time, so when I learned that he wrote a book, got it straight away. Halfway through it, what a great helpful read!
- I loved that this book explained things that go on in my head in a way I could connect with and understand. I followed all the activities and kept journal entries on the exercises. I really feel like it gave me tools to use in a daily basis.

I have spent years battling with my relationship with food. From counting calories and weighing food to binge eating at the weekend. This pattern continued as I didn't realise it was my emotions and thoughts that was causing this. Think Straight Lose Weight has taught me why I was sabotaging my progress and how to overcome it. I have now developed a healthy relationship with food, I eat to fuel my body rather than to make myself feel better.
David has done an outstanding job in making this book easy to follow. He doesn't just tell you what you should do, he gives you the tools to do it yourself and breaks it down step by step. Since implementing the strategies I am now full of confidence and self belief which has given me more passion and drive to lead a life I love. It's a book I will read over and over! - Wow is the word I would use to describe this book. It is full of incredible strategies to not only change your eating habits but to improve your whole life!
The book is clearly set out and easy to follow and as long as the activities and strategies in the book are followed you canĂ¢€™t fail to make life changes whatever your end goal. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to create better habits and change the way the view things for the better. David is an incredible guy with an absolute wealth of knowledge and passion and that shines through in his book. - Amazing book which makes you really look inside yourself for the reasons for over eating/binge eating. David deals with the mindset and it is a revelation when you realise what the triggers are and what a delight when you can deal with them with the tools David gives you . Highly recommend
